A week after Bennett
Two Likud MKs Hacked, Details Leaked on Dark Net
Likud lawmakers Moshe Saada and Tali Gottlieb informed Knesset Security on Wednesday that their phones had allegedly been hacked, with personal details posted on the dark net. The story comes a week after Iranian hackers stole thousands of files from the phone of former PM Naftali Bennett.

Likud lawmakers Tali Gottlieb and Moshe Saada reported Wednesday that their personal mobile phones may have been hacked, after being warned that private information taken from their devices was circulating on the dark web.
According to the lawmakers, a former police officer who now works in cybersecurity alerted them to the breach and advised that data extracted from their personal phones had been published online. Both MKs notified the Knesset’s security officer following the warning.
The suspected incident comes just days after an Iranian-linked hacker group claimed it had successfully breached the personal phone of former prime minister Naftali Bennett, part of what Israeli officials view as an intensifying Iranian cyber campaign targeting senior Israeli figures.
At this stage, it remains unclear what type of information was exposed, how extensive the breach may be, or whether the incidents involving Gottlieb and Saada are directly connected to the reported attack on Bennett. No official confirmation has yet been issued regarding the identity of the hackers or the authenticity of the leaked material.
Knesset security officials and relevant cyber authorities are examining the claims. If confirmed, the incident would mark another serious escalation in attempts to target Israeli elected officials through cyber means, raising concerns about personal privacy, political coercion, and potential national security implications.
Israeli security agencies have repeatedly warned lawmakers and senior officials about increased foreign cyber activity, particularly from Iran and affiliated groups, aimed at intelligence gathering, influence operations, and public intimidation.
