The northern city of Nahariya suffered a direct hit during a heavy barrage from Hezbollah.
The rocket hit a residential neighborhood, triggering a major emergency response this evening.
Two buildings sustained direct hits. In one of the structures, a fire broke out, trapping five residents inside. Fire and Rescue services battled heavy flames and ongoing sirens to successfully extract all individuals.
Nahariya: Three females—a 53-year-old woman and two teenagers (ages 16 and 18)—were treated for shock and for smoke inhalation.
Kabri Junction: A 40-year-old man is reported to be in light-to-moderate condition after suffering a head injury. he has been evacuated to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya.
The IDF is currently investigating whether the damage was caused by a direct Hezbollah rocket or a malfunctioning Iron Dome interceptor that fell within the city limits.
