After Liberman's coalition call

Ben Ari: Deri won't join left coalition

Michael Ben Ari dismisses talk of a left-wing government with the chareidi parties: Deri already halved Shas last time, if he wants to finish it off, he'll go with Liberman-Golan

Michael Ben Ari addressed the election results on Tuesday and the possibility of a left-wing government with the chareidi parties, calling it a suicidal move for Shas - and therefore one that Aryeh Deri will not make.

"Deri already halved Shas in the last election," Ben Ari said. "If he wants to finish off Shas completely, then he'll go into a Liberman-Golan government. That's why it won't happen. Liberman is back in his delusions: 'I'm eliminating Haniyeh.'"

Earlier on Tuesday, Liberman issued a dramatic statement saying, "We must prevent another election." He added: "In the political situation that has been created, there is enough room to maneuver, and with the right navigation we can quickly establish a functioning and stable government without Ra'am and the Joint List."
