Issuing a direct warning to Tehran, Netanyahu stated that Israeli pilots are prepared to strike anywhere in Iran as Israel pivots toward military independence and "blue-and-white" defense manufacturing.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a recorded statement Sunday morning unveiling a major update to Israel’s national security doctrine. Against the backdrop of two direct military confrontations with Iran and a fragile ceasefire, the Prime Minister emphasized a dual strategy of "military buildup and independence."

Air Superiority and Direct Threats

Netanyahu officially confirmed the acquisition of two new advanced fighter squadrons to bolster the Israeli Air Force (IAF). "We are purchasing two squadrons of cutting-edge aircraft: the F-35 and the F-15IA," the Prime Minister declared.

He noted that these acquisitions are designed to cement Israel's "crushing air superiority," which he claimed was recently demonstrated during operations "Am KeLavi" and "Lion's Roar." Netanyahu concluded this section with a direct warning to the regime in Tehran:

"Our pilots can reach anywhere in the skies of Iran, and they are prepared to do so if required. We have tremendous aircraft and we have tremendous pilots."

The Push for Defense Independence

A significant portion of the Prime Minister's address focused on "security independence," the ability for Israel to meet its own military needs without total reliance on external suppliers. To achieve this, Netanyahu announced a massive long-term financial commitment.

"In the coming decade, we will add 350 billion NIS ($95 billion) to the defense budget to manufacture munitions here in Israel, so that we are not dependent on foreign countries," he explained. In addition to munitions, he revealed that Israel is developing "groundbreaking blue-and-white aircraft" that he believes will "change the entire picture."

Countering the Drone Threat

Addressing the evolving nature of modern warfare, the Prime Minister highlighted the threat posed by Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Netanyahu announced the establishment of a dedicated project to neutralize the drone threat and stated he would receive the first progress report on the initiative today.

"It will take time, but we are on it," he promised, vowing that Israel would maintain its qualitative edge across all arenas.
