The fighters of the battle team of the Givati ​​Brigade, which consists of infantry and special forces, engineering and armor fighters, today (Wednesday) raided terrorist infrastructures in the area of ​​the city of Bani Suheila in the southern Gaza Strip.

The IDF said that the fighters eliminated many terrorists in short-range encounters, while maximizing the precision sniping capabilities of the brigade combat team, through tank attacks and airstrikes directed by the forces. It was also said that the forces destroyed terrorist infrastructures, a military contact site of the terrorist organization Hamas and meeting points of terrorists from the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip.

At the same time, the fighters of the Egoz unit are fighting in the heart of Khan Yunis and have located significant tunnel shafts. The soldiers of the unit attack, using precision weaponry, anti-tank positions, observation and terrorists and locate weapons.

The commander of the Givati ​​Brigade, Major General Liron Batito, said that "the brigade's combat team has been fighting in the Khan Yunis area for about a week. The forces are doing an extraordinary job here with an extraordinary fighting spirit. In the last week the brigade has eliminated over 100 terrorists, some at close range and others in offensive operations above and below ground. We are here strong and determined until the end, until victory."
