Major General Eliezer Toledano - head of the Strategy and Third Circuit Division - revealed today the IDF's assessment of the number of terrorists who have been killed in Gaza since the start of the Sword of Iron War that began 79 days ago.

According to the report on the Ynet website, at the government meeting, Toledano stated that according to estimates, the IDF has killed 7,860 terrorists since the beginning of the war. According to the general, the number is based, among other things, on the interrogations of the captured terrorists, who tell how many were killed among their forces, and also on the IDF's estimates of the terrorists who were killed in aerial bombardments and clashes.
