The official residence serves as both home and office for Israel's sitting prime minister.
The audio quality makes it difficult to discern her exact words, though she can be heard calling out: "I need a person, call the assistant." The recording quickly circulated on social media, generating thousands of critical comments and calls for an investigation into conditions at the official residence. The Likud party, which Netanyahu leads, did not respond to requests for comment.
This is not the first time Sara Netanyahu has been recorded in an apparently agitated state. About a month ago, video footage went viral showing her at Teddy Stadium during the opening ceremony of the Maccabiah Games—an international Jewish athletic competition held in Israel. In that incident, she was seen shouting and gesturing toward the prime minister and his staff members.
