Hezbollah's intensive attack on the North continues, after launching some 65 rockets and shells towards Israel. This attack includes anti-tank missiles, one of which directly hit and seriously damaged a private home in Shtula.

This attack takes place as frequent reports come in of talks to lead to a cease-fire and a deal with Hezbollah.

Negotiations for a possible ceasefire are ongoing, as Hezbollah has stated it "does not mind" what France and the US have recently proposed to end the border war in the north, "specifically (Israel's) full withdrawal from seven border points and partial withdrawal from other points while keeping the Shebaa Farms problem pending," according to the Lebanese News portal Naharnet.
