CNN: US to back Israel in case of escalation of war with Hezbollah

Senior US officials meeting with NSC head Tzachi Hanegbi and Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer assured the Israeli delegation that it would provide Israel with everything it needs in the even of a broader war with Hezbollah, according to CNN.

This report comes as Prime Minister Netanyahu has accused the US of slowing security assistance to a trickle, an accusation supported by Republican Senator Tom Cotton in a recent letter to the Biden administration.
