Anti-Israel Congressmember Cori Bush ousted in primary
Bush is the second member of the so-called progressive "Squad" to be defeated recently, the first being Jamaal Bowman of New York.

The Associated Press projected last night (Tuesday) that Cori Bush, an anti-Israel member of the progressive "squad" faction of the Democratic party, has lost her congressional primary to pro-Israel candidate Wesley Bell.
Although Israel was not a major factor in the primary, the Wall Street Journal reports that AIPAC invested significant sums in ads hitting Bush for various actions as a Congresswoman.
Bush is now the second member of the squad to be forced out, the first being Jamaal Bowman of New York, who lost a primary in his Bronx seat earlier this year.
Not all such challenges have succeeded, according to USA Today, as both Summer Lee and Rashida Tlaib have fended off such challenges.
