The operation in northern Samaria: During a joint activity of the IDF and Shin Bet yesterday (Thursday) in Qabatiya in the Jenin area, fighters from the Duvdevan unit eliminated four armed terrorists during an exchange of fire. It was also stated that the forces confiscated three weapons and additional combat equipment found on the eliminated terrorists.
At the same time, several armed terrorists were identified in the area last night firing at the forces operating in the area. Guided by the Shin Bet and the forces on the ground, an Israeli Air Force aircraft struck the vehicle in which the terrorists were traveling and eliminated three of them.
According to the IDF spokesperson, the terrorists' vehicle contained weapons and explosives that caused a secondary explosion. Among the terrorists eliminated in the attack was the head of the terror cell in Qabatiya, Shadi Zakarneh, who was responsible for directing and carrying out attacks in the northern Samaria area.
It was also reported that during the activity, the forces arrested seven wanted individuals suspected of carrying out terrorist activities.
