The IDF Spokesperson in Arabic issued a warning a short time ago today (Sunday) to the residents of multiple villages throughout southern Lebanon to evacuate for their own safety.

The statement told residents "Houla, Mays al-Jabal, Blida, Mahbib, Shaqra, Baraisht, Majdal Salm, Qabrikha, Kounine, Beit Yahoun, Jamijmeh, al-Tayri, Bani Hayyan, al-Tamriyeh, Tulin, Deir Siryan, al-Qusayr, Baflia, Jabal al-Adas, Bayad, Sarbin, Burj Rahhal, Ain Baal, al-Rashidiya, Haniyeh. Hezbollah's activities force the IDF to act against it. For your own safety, you must evacuate your homes immediately."

Residents of southern Lebanon were all ordered to move north of the Awali River. This river lies to the north of the Litani River which serves as the boundary of southern Lebanon and to which the IDF hopes to force Hezbollah to remain, based on UN Resolution 1701.

Adraee ended his order warning anyone against trying to go home before the IDF gives the all clear: "Do not go south. Any movement south will put your life in danger. We will inform you of the appropriate and safe time to return to your homes."
