Israel-Hezbollah War
Why was the Binyamina drone not shot down? Why didn't the siren go off?
An initial IDF inquiry into the Binyamina drone attack, which injured almost 70 people and killed at least one, appears to have the beginning of an answer.

With over 60 wounded and at least one dead from a drone attack on the town of Binyamina tonight (Sunday), many are asking how it was possible that a drone not only successfully attacked Israel but didn't trigger a warning siren.
According to an initial inquiry by the IDF as reported by Israel Hayom, two drones attacked Israel's north from the sea. One of them was shot down near Nahariya.
However, the Air Force lost contact with the second drone before it attacked, which is why there was not only no interception but also no warning siren. The IDF has not yet explained how and why the Air Force "lost contact" with the drone.
