Arab media reports powerful Israeli Air Force (IAF) airstrikes overnight (Monday-Tuesday) in Baalbek in the Jordan Valley, in eastern Lebanon. At least 60 were reportedly killed and more than 100 wounded. The attacks were described as "the 'most violent' day in Baalbek."

Saudi outlet Al-Hadath reported that the IAF refrained from attacking targets in Beirut's Dahiya quarter for the second night, despite the fact that the site is considered a stronghold of Hezbollah terrorists.

Yesterday, Israeli Air Force fighter jets, under the direction of the Northern Command, attacked weapons and anti-tank missile depots in the Tyre area in southern Lebanon, military buildings and observation posts of various Hezbollah military units, including the Aziz Unit, which is responsible for firing from southwestern Lebanon towards Israeli territory.

Hezbollah promoted terrorist activities against Israeli citizens and IDF forces from these compounds. The city of Tyre is a significant Hezbollah base.
