Four Kfir Brigade soldiers fell in Northern Gaza combat
Israel mourns the loss of Staff Sergeants Orr Katz, Nave Yair Asulin, Gary Lalhruaikima Zolat, and Ofir Eliyahu.


The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit cleared for publication this morning (Tuesday) the names of four soldiers from the Kfir Brigade’s 92nd Battalion who fell in combat in the northern Gaza Strip.
The soldiers are: Staff Sergeant Orr Katz, 20, from Ma'ale Adumim, Staff Sergeant Nave Yair Asulin, 21, from Carmit, Staff Sergeant Gary Lalhruaikima Zolat, 21, from Afula, and Staff Sergeant Ofir Eliyahu, 20, from Holon.
Their families have been informed of their loss. Since the start of the war, 787 IDF soldiers have fallen.
The IDF also recently announced the loss of Major (res.) Itamar Levin Fridman, a squad commander in the LOTAR Eilat Unit, who was killed during combat in northern Gaza. Fridman, aged 34 and a resident of Eilat, was killed in action when his unit came under anti-tank fire during a battle with Hamas in Jabalia.
He is survived by his wife and two children. His funeral will take place today (Tuesday) at 3:00 p.m. at the military cemetery in Eilat.
