The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) released a detailed report on its prolonged conflict with Hezbollah, which concluded this week following a cease-fire after nearly 14 months of fighting. While operations in the Gaza Strip are expected to continue for years, the IDF's Northern Command is focusing on maintaining cease-fire enforcement strikes and warning fire, awaiting the completion of the Lebanese Army's deployment south of the Litani River, which will allow Israeli forces to gradually withdraw back to Israel.

According to military data, 121,000 communication devices, computers, electronics, and documents were seized during numerous covert operations in Lebanon leading up to the two-month-long ground campaign, which ended earlier this week. Additionally, 13,000 anti-tank missile launchers, anti-aircraft rockets and missiles, 12,000 explosives, UAVs, and various other explosive devices were either captured or destroyed, with the total number of items seized reaching more than 155,000.

The IDF estimates that Hezbollah now retains less than 30% of its original UAV fleet, which still consists of several hundred units. Military reports confirm the elimination of at least 2,500 Hezbollah fighters, although the actual number is believed to be closer to 3,500, with double that amount injured. Lebanon has officially reported 3,961 fatalities, without distinguishing between civilians and combatants, along with 16,520 injuries.

Among the key figures killed were Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, his designated successor Hashem Safieddine, and 13 other senior commanders. These included four division commanders, 24 brigade commanders, 27 battalion commanders, and 63 company commanders. As part of the effort against Hezbollah’s elite Radwan Force, approximately 160 military headquarters, 150 weapons depots, and over 1,500 terror infrastructure sites were destroyed. In total, over 1,600 Hezbollah military headquarters from various units and more than 1,000 weapons depots were targeted.

The Israeli Air Force reported 14,000 hours of fighter jet operations, conducting 11,000 offensive sorties. More than 12,500 Hezbollah assets were struck across Lebanon since October 8 of the previous year, including 360 terror infrastructure sites in Beirut and the Beqaa Valley, as well as 1,000 additional targets. Intensified efforts began in August. The Israeli Navy conducted 25,000 hours of maritime operations off the Lebanese coast, while 14 brigades were involved in the ground campaign, supported by over 100 special operations and 24 divisional raids.

Meanwhile, Israel continues to enforce the cease-fire agreement. On Thursday, the IDF conducted its first airstrike since the cease-fire began, targeting a Hezbollah facility in southern Lebanon used to store mid-range rockets. Other instances of cease-fire violations led to additional airstrikes, including one against two Hezbollah operatives near a known terror asset in southern Lebanon used to launch rockets into Israel in recent weeks.
