Below is the full statement by Beilinson Hospital:

Beilinson Hospital from the Clalit Group announces that Omer Shem Tov, who was admitted to the hospital last Saturday, was discharged this evening (Saturday night) after completing the necessary tests. Upon his release, Omer will begin a day rehabilitation process at Beilinson.

The hospital will remain available to Omer and his family members, and they will continue to receive all the support they need.

At Beilinson Hospital, we will continue to be prepared and ready, with the understanding that the mission will not be complete until all the hostages return home.

In his first public appearance since being freed, Shem Tov donned tefillin and reflected on the strength he drew from the prayers of the Jewish people during his time in captivity. "Am Yisrael—there is no one like us!" he wrote, expressing gratitude for the unwavering support he felt from his community.

His post began by saying: "Creator of the world, thank you for being with me at every moment."

He then went on to pay homage to Uri Danino, who tried to save people fleeing the Nova party. "Amidst the chaos, he appeared like an angel, without hesitation. Uri, because of you I am here. I can't find the words to thank you. may your memory be a blessing."

Omer then went on to thank our brave soldiers who fought and died so bravely to return the hostages.

"Am Yisrael - there is and will never be a nation such as us!" Omer exclaimed. "I felt your prayers and even in the darkness there was light".
