The Palestinians reported a short while ago (Wednesday) that the IDF had attacked Jabaliya with force, and among other things, a building used as an UNRWA clinic was also attacked, claiming that there were 19 people killed there, including nine children; the IDF approved the attack.
The IDF said in a statement: "A short while ago, the IDF and the Shin Bet attacked terrorists of the Hamas terrorist organization in the Jabalia area. The terrorists were hiding in a command and control compound that served as a military terrorist infrastructure and a central meeting place for the terrorist organization. In addition, the building was used by the Jabalia Battalion to promote terror plots against the citizens of the State of Israel and IDF forces."
It was also reported: "Prior to the attack, many steps were taken to reduce the chance of harm to civilians, including the use of aerial observations and other intelligence information."
The IDF further responded: "The Hamas terrorist organization systematically violates international law, using cynical and cruel civilian institutions and the population as human shields for terrorist acts. The IDF and the Shin Bet will continue to act against the Hamas terror organization in order to defend the State of Israel."
