After the exchange of fire: IDF eliminates six terrorists in Rafah | WATCH

The IDF confirmed that all six terrorists who attacked IDF forces last night in Rafah were killed during the exchange of fire. Weapons were found on the terrorists who were eliminated. “The IDF views any violation of the agreement with great severity,” the military said.

A day after the serious incident in Rafah, in which an exchange of fire took place after six terrorists were identified approaching IDF forces, the IDF Spokesperson confirmed on Wednesday that the combat team of the 7th Brigade eliminated all six terrorists during the clashes. The statement added that various weapons were found on the terrorists who were killed.

The IDF further stated: “The IDF views any violation of the agreement with great severity and will continue to act against any attempt by terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip to carry out terror attacks against IDF forces and the citizens of the State of Israel.”

As reported last night, IDF surveillance units identified six armed terrorists in the western Rafah area, near IDF forces deployed in the southern Gaza Strip. Immediately after the identification, tanks arrived at the location and fired at the terrorists. Following the fire, the terrorists shot at the forces, including at one of the tanks, leading to an exchange of fire that included airstrikes in the area.
