Hamas terrorist posed as aid worker

IDF Eliminates Nukhba Terrorist Who Posed as Humanitarian Aid Worker

The IDF confirmed that Zaqar Nabil Musa Qisi, a Hamas Nukhba terrorist who infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre, was eliminated earlier today (Sunday) in a strike in the Khan Yunis area of Gaza.

Alongside his role in the terror organization, Qisi served as director of the Turkish charity Deniz Feneri, which presents itself as a humanitarian aid organization. In practice, according to the IDF, the charity maintains ties with senior Hamas leadership and Turkish government figures. Through his position at the organization, Qisi worked to employ numerous terrorists on a permanent basis and provided financial support to Hamas operatives.

The IDF stated that "the organization and its senior officials present their activities as humanitarian work, but in practice they promote fundraising to support the Hamas terror organization. This is a cynical exploitation of the humanitarian space to support terror activity, while advancing the operations of the Hamas terror organization under a humanitarian guise."

The IDF added that "in recent times, the terrorist advanced terror plans against IDF forces and Israeli civilians and worked to restore the organization's capabilities, while systematically violating the ceasefire. The terrorist was eliminated in order to remove the threat he posed. Before the strike, steps were taken to minimize harm to civilians as much as possible, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance."

"The IDF continues to concentrate efforts on striking the financing capabilities of the military activity of the Hamas terror organization, to prevent the restoration of its infrastructure and military capabilities," the statement said. "IDF forces in the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to act to remove any immediate threat."
