Hotovely honors 'No Other Land' response film

National Hasbara Directorate chief Tzipi Hotovely presents certificate of appreciation to creators of counter-documentary: The film presents Israel's truth and the morality of IDF soldiers against the blood libels and lies spread against us worldwide

Tzipi Hotovely, head of the National Hasbara Directorate, presented a certificate of appreciation to Ariel Urbach, Roy Danino and Hagai Gutman, the creators of 'NAZA — The True Story'. Hotovely said the certificate recognizes their contribution to Israeli hasbara.

The film is a response to 'NAZA', presenting soldiers' testimonies and addressing claims made in the controversial documentary. The Hasbara Directorate explained that the film "refutes the blood libels against IDF soldiers and commanders, thereby defending the soldiers and the state."

"The film presents Israel's truth and the morality of IDF soldiers against the blood libels and lies spread against us worldwide," Hotovely said. "The film, which has garnered tens of millions of views, exposes Hamas's crimes and its vile use of the civilian population."

"I thank the filmmakers for the initiative, the assertiveness and the creativity," she added, addressing Urbach, Danino and Gutman. "You are an expression of our wonderful civilian spirit, and I am proud to give you backing and appreciation on behalf of the Directorate and on behalf of the State of Israel."
