i24 host Eliraz Sade predicted Friday that if neither bloc wins 61 mandates in the coming election, Prime Minister Netanyahu and Yesh Atid MK Gadi Eisenkot will form a unity government, with Eisenkot serving under Netanyahu.
"Just as Eisenkot waited patiently for his moment under Gantz, so he will wait under Netanyahu for his moment if neither side has 61," he wrote. "And this time, unlike the relationship with Gantz, Netanyahu will keep to the agreements, because the base on the right is also signaling domestic peace. Eisenkot will arrive modest and precise in his demands, and Netanyahu will be able to form a government that sends a message to the whole world that the more they align with the enemy, the more we know how to unite at home."
"With a government like this, we can destroy Hezbollah and Hamas, and that's what matters," Shada continued. "The ones who will pay the price will be the chareidim. They had time to find a solution for enlistment or national service, and they made a mistake when they didn't connect all parts of the nation, after all, that is the absolute will of Hashem. Unless Eisenkot breaks everything and sits with them, a reality that wouldn't surprise me but which I estimate is not very likely."
