Likud candidate blames Oslo for Oct. 7

Erez Tadmor warns against vote-splitting on the right, compares the situation to 1992, and says Oslo set off the chain of events that led to the October 7 disaster

Likud Candidate: "Oslo Accords are to Blame for October 7 Massacre"

Likud Knesset candidate Erez Tadmor is warning against vote loss in the national camp in the coming elections and drawing a direct line from the results of the 1992 elections to the October 7 massacre.

In an interview on the "Yoman Hatzohorayim" program with Mati Tuchfeld on Radio Galei Yisrael, Tadmor addressed the danger of independent runs by right-wing parties that fail to cross the electoral threshold. "One term of a left-wing government that is formed because of right-wing foolishness, because of burning right-wing votes and because of irresponsibility by right-wing parties," Tadmor said.

Tadmor went on to attack the historical consequences of forming that government: "We are still, thirty-three years later, and even October 7 is a result of the Oslo Accords."

In his remarks, he explained how in his view the accords led to the current security situation. "The Israeli government let them bring in containers with tens of thousands of Kalashnikovs. Since then we've been dealing with terror armies," he claimed.

Ahead of the coming elections, Tadmor called on the voting public and party leaders to learn the lessons of the past and avoid unnecessary risks at the ballot box: "We must not make this mistake again."
