Culture and Sport Minister Miki Zohar addressed the possibility that Yonatan Urich could turn state's witness against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in an interview Thursday on Radio 103FM, categorically ruling out the scenario.
When interviewer Sivan Cohen asked Zohra directly, "Could it be that Urich will become a state's witness against Netanyahu?" he replied without hesitation: "There's no chance that will happen. He has no reason to do such a thing. In my opinion, in this entire affair he didn't do anything criminal. The whole attempt to turn him into a criminal won't succeed."
Zohar's comments came in response to Cohen's direct question about the possibility of Urich testifying against the prime minister. In his answer, the minister presented two clear positions: first, that he sees no reason why Urich would agree to become a state's witness, and second, that he believes the attempt to portray Urich as a criminal will not succeed.
