Sivan Cohen, a news anchor and television host on Channel 12, posted a call for two political figures to be given roles in the Israeli system following the elections to the 26th Knesset: Yoaz Hendel and Dr. Einat Wilf.

"Two people who must be found a place, Yoaz Hendel and Dr. Einat Wilf," Cohen wrote on her X account, adding: "Politics isn't exactly overflowing with impressive human material; they are among the best we have."

The Reservists and Economic Party, led by Yoaz Hendel and Yaron Zelekha, failed to cross the electoral threshold in the elections to the 26th Knesset. According to the final count, the list received 154,585 votes, representing 2.72% of the total vote, leaving it outside the Knesset.

Hendel, chairman of the party, addressed his party's failure to cross the threshold in an interview yesterday on Kan Reshet Bet. Hendel took responsibility for the result, but at the same time criticized the media and claimed that coverage influenced voters' decisions. "I am responsible for what happened," Hendel said, adding: "But the media dripped into people's brains that we're not passing. The media chose to present that data."
