Temperatures Drop, Rain and Wind Return After Brief Break

After a break of several days, winter weather is returning to Israel. A sharp drop in temperatures is expected along with rain and strong winds, according to the Israel Meteorological Service.

Tuesday will be partly cloudy to clear. Temperatures will drop significantly, with humidity rising especially along the coastal plain, the lowlands and northwestern Negev. Temperatures will return to seasonal averages in most areas.

Wednesday will be partly cloudy, with a slight additional drop in temperatures expected.

Thursday will be partly cloudy to cloudy. Local rain is expected, mainly in the north of the country and along the coastal plain. Temperatures will drop slightly again.

Friday will see occasional rain in the north and center of the country, with isolated thunderstorms possible. Local rain may fall in the northern Negev. Temperatures will continue to drop and will be below seasonal average.
