She gave strength to those in pain

A trauma therapist and anxiety expert, Tzeela Gez HY"D spent her life healing pain, until terror claimed her own.

Tze'ela Gez, a resident of the settlement of Bruchin, murdered last night (Wednesday) in the horrific shooting attack near Peduel in Samaria, was a therapist with a variety of tools for trauma, crisis and relationships, and a lecturer in the treatment of anxiety. On her last birthday on Hanukkah, she published a post about the situation in Israel on Facebook.
In the post, she wrote: "Who can believe that there are still hostages, that there are many families dealing with bereavement and many women whose husbands are enlisted, and who have not had the privilege of experiencing a husband or father recently; and regardless of the illnesses, a lot of mental and physical suffering, illnesses and troubles of all kinds."
She noted in this regard: "I feel that all we need right now is to surround ourselves with light, to think good things, to fill ourselves with hope, to be around people who empower us and see the light within us. Because fundamentally, we are all light in this world! Or at least we can all be, it is inherent in us from the moment of our creation! I go through immense pain with people! But the goal is not to remain in darkness."
"The goal is to pass through it to reach the light, to go through the painful and dark tunnel at the end of which there is light."
Besides that, during the last Sukkot holiday, Tzala referred to the difficulty of being happy due to the war: "An uncertain time. A feeling that there is nowhere safe, and yet we continue to go out to work and to live."
