Are US-Hamas ceasefire negotiations dead in the water?
Despite reports of a separate negotiations channel between the United States and Hamas, bypassing Israel, right now they seem to be stuck.

Ceasefire negotiations between Hamas and the United States are not going anywhere due to deep differences between the two sides.
According to a report by Channel 14 reporter Tamir Morag today (Sunday), the Trump administration's effort to negotiate separately with Hamas and without Israel have not "matured," as the US insists that Hamas disarm and not take any part in the governance of the Gaza Strip, conditions which Hamas has consistently refused.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently addressed claims of rifts between himself and President Trump, saying that he talks to the President regularly and that they largely agree on key issues. Media reports of a rift between them are politically-driven, he said.
