BREAKING: Iran Attacks Residential Building in Northern Oman – 2 Injured

A residential building in Bukha, Oman, was struck Monday in an attack attributed to Iran, injuring two expatriate workers. The strike marks a rare violation of Omani neutrality as Iran escalates its drone and missile campaign across the Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.

A residential building in the Bukha area of Oman’s Musandam Governorate was struck today in an attack attributed to Iran, lightly to moderately injuring two expatriate workers, according to Omani state media and local reports.

Key Details:

Oman has not yet issued an official statement blaming Iran directly, consistent with its longstanding policy of neutrality. However, the timing and location strongly point to Iranian responsibility as part of Tehran’s ongoing retaliation campaign.

This marks another escalation in the regional crisis, with Iran targeting Gulf shipping, oil facilities, and now civilian areas in Oman, a country that has historically served as a mediator between Iran and the West.

UAE has strongly condemned the attacks, and international maritime agencies continue to warn of extreme danger in the area.
