Iran Terrifies Piers Morgan
Piers Morgan finally understands that Iran really does pose a threat to countries other than Israel, including his beloved UK.

British broadcaster Piers Morgan has issued a stark warning after Iran demonstrated it can strike targets more than 4,000 km away, placing British cities squarely in range for the first time.
In a viral post on X yesterday, Morgan wrote:
“So not only has Iran brazenly lied about its ballistic missile range capacity, but this means it can probably hit the UK with them – and we have zero, I repeat ZERO, defence against these missiles. Very worrying.”
The trigger was Iran’s surprise launch of two intermediate-range ballistic missiles (IRBMs) at the joint UK-US military base on Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean on Friday, March 21.
US officials confirmed:
The strike is significant because Diego Garcia lies approximately 4,000 km from Iranian launch sites. double the 2,000 km maximum range Tehran had previously admitted. Straight-line distance from Tehran to London is roughly 4,400 km, putting the entire UK within potential striking distance.
UK Defence Gap Exposed
Britain currently has no operational homeland ballistic-missile defence system capable of stopping IRBMs travelling at hypersonic speeds. Existing assets (Sky Sabre, Typhoon fighters with Meteor missiles) are designed for aircraft and shorter-range threats, not massed ballistic salvos.
Unlike Israel’s multi-layered Arrow-3 system or America’s Ground-based Midcourse Defence, the UK relies almost entirely on NATO and US protection for this class of weapon, a vulnerability now laid bare.
Defence analysts say Iran’s successful range demonstration marks a major escalation in the regime’s long-range strike capability and has caught European capitals off guard.
Morgan’s blunt assessment has been widely shared and praised by military commentators who say the broadcaster simply stated what the maps and the Diego Garcia attack now make obvious.
