Tucker Carslon Show: Marjorie Taylor Greene Sparks Fury with Shocking Claim | WATCH

In a stunning interview with Tucker Carlson, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) peddled antisemitic tropes, claiming U.S. presidents must "pledge allegiance" to Israel to win office. Critics blasted the "dangerous" conspiracy theory, which alleges even Donald Trump was forced to make "deals" with the Jewish state to secure the presidency.

In a latest appearance on The Tucker Carlson Show, ex-Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) doubled down on fringe rhetoric, claiming that U.S. leaders, including President Donald Trump, must “pledge allegiance” to Israel or be denied power in Washington.

Greene told Carlson that “every U.S. leader must completely pledge allegiance to Israel or be denied power,” adding that becoming president requires making secret “deals” with Israel. She specifically alleged that Trump “had to make a deal like this” to win the presidency, suggesting unwavering support for the Jewish state comes at America’s expense.

Critics quickly condemned Greene’s remarks as reviving longstanding antisemitic conspiracy theories about Jewish or Israeli “control” over U.S. politics. The comments align with a pattern from the Georgia lawmaker, who has repeatedly faced accusations of trafficking in antisemitic imagery and rhetoric, including past associations with white nationalist figures and endorsements of theories about “Jewish space lasers.”

Mainstream Jewish organizations and pro-Israel advocates described the interview as dangerous and divisive. “This isn’t ‘America First’ — it’s isolationism wrapped in conspiracy,” said one longtime Republican strategist. “Questioning bipartisan support for our strongest ally in the Middle East while pushing baseless claims about ‘deals’ does real damage.”

Fracturing the GOP

Greene’s latest outburst highlights deepening rifts within the Republican Party and the broader MAGA movement over U.S. foreign policy. While strong support for Israel remains a core tenet for most conservatives, rooted in shared democratic values, intelligence cooperation, and counterterrorism efforts, Greene and a small cohort of isolationist voices have grown increasingly vocal in their criticism.

Her claims come amid ongoing U.S. military aid to Israel, which supporters argue is vital for regional stability against threats from Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, and other terror groups. Opponents like Greene frame the relationship as one-sided and detrimental to American interests.

Political observers note that Greene’s comments risk alienating key GOP donors, voters, and allies at a sensitive time. Her history of inflammatory statements has already led to her being stripped of committee assignments in the past, and this latest episode is likely to draw fresh rebukes from party leadership.

During the wide-ranging discussion, Greene also criticized AIPAC (the American Israel Public Affairs Committee), suggested lawmakers face undue pressure to affirm support for Israel, and questioned why America prioritizes the alliance. She contrasted this with domestic priorities, asking, “What about our own country?”

Unsurprisingly, Tucker Carlson, who has faced his own criticism for platforming skeptical views on Israel, gave Greene ample room to air her grievances without significant pushback.

As reactions pour in, Greene’s interview is being widely shared and debated online, praised by far-right and anti-Israel circles, but slammed by mainstream Republicans, Democrats, and Jewish groups as irresponsible and conspiratorial.

Greene has not commented on the immediate backlash.
