Reports emerging from Iran indicate that significant airstrikes have hit a sensitive site inside the Parchin Military Complex, a location long associated with research related to nuclear weapons development.

According to the reports, satellite imagery shows three large impact craters at the Talqan-2 facility within the complex. The site had reportedly been recently reinforced and buried underground by Iranian authorities in an effort to shield it from potential airstrikes.

The attack is believed to have been carried out using Northrop B-2 Spirit stealth bombers.

The aircraft reportedly deployed GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator bombs, each weighing roughly 14,400 kilograms and designed specifically to destroy deeply buried or fortified targets.

Analysts say the strike appears similar in method to the U.S. attack on the Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant at the end of Operation Rising Lion, which also targeted hardened underground nuclear infrastructure.

Parchin has been linked for years by Western intelligence agencies to activities related to nuclear weapons research, though Iranian officials have denied such claims.

There has been no official confirmation yet from Iranian authorities regarding the extent of the damage at the site.
