The White House: "We did not Approve the Raid on Shifa Hospital"

The spokesman for the National Security Council in the White House said that the US did not approve the IDF's raid on the Shifa Hospital: "These are operational plans of the Israeli army." He also attacked Hamas: "They violate the laws of war when they place headquarters in hospitals."

The spokesman for the National Security Council of the White House, John Kirby, responded this evening (Wednesday) to the activity of IDF forces at Shifa Hospital, and claimed that the US did not approve the Israeli raid on the hospital in Gaza. In his words, Kirby added and condemned Hamas for using the hospital for military terrorist activity.

"The United States did not give the OK to the Israeli operation at Shifa Hospital, because the United States does not give the OK to the operations of others," said Kirby. "These are the operational plans of the Israeli army, and they plan and carry them out."

However, Kirby clarified that "speaking of Shifa, we must not forget what Hamas is doing. They are a terrorist organization, and they violate the laws of war when they set up headquarters in hospitals. This is how they endanger innocent people."
