Donald Trump, the 47th President of the United States, gave his victory speech at his headquarters at Mar-A-Lago in Florida, early Wednesday morning.
Trump stated that "this is a political victory that our country has not experienced before...I will fight for you and your family and your future, every single day I'll be fighting for you, with every breath in my body. I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe and prosperous America that our children deserve and that you deserve."
He went on to say that "this will truly be the golden age of America. This victory will allow us to make America great again!...We have also won the popular vote, that was great...America has given us an unprecedented and powerful mandate - we have taken back control of the Senate...and it also looks like we'll be keeping control of the House of Representatives.
Trump thanked the American people for giving him the strongest of mandates to make the changes needed to put the U.S. back on track.
