15 Innocents Murdered in Terror Rampage
Trump's Verdict: "The Attack in Sydney Was Antisemitic, Nothing Else"
President Donald Trump praised the civilian hero, Ahmad Al-Ahmad, a Muslim man who bravely confronted and neutralized one of the Sydney terrorists, while firmly stating the massacre was purely antisemitic.

Trump Praises Civilian Hero
President Donald Trump weighed in on the horrific antisemitic terror attack that targeted a Hanukkah celebration in Sydney, Australia, focusing his remarks on the extraordinary bravery of a civilian who intervened to stop one of the terrorists.
Trump expressed immense respect for the individual who stepped forward amidst the chaos, identifying him as a hero. “I have great respect for that man,” Trump said, adding that the civilian hero “went in, attacked frontally one of the shooters and save a lot of lives.”
The former President unequivocally condemned the nature of the attack, stating, "The attack in Sydney was antisemitic, nothing else." He offered his heartfelt thanks and wished the hero a swift recovery, saying, “The man who attacked one of the terrorists in Sydney was very brave. He saved many lives. I wish him a speedy recovery and thank him very much.”
The Man Who Saved Lives
The civilian hero praised by Trump has been identified as Ahmad Al-Ahmad, a 43-year-old Muslim fruit-shop owner from the city. Al-Ahmad was passing by the scene of the shooting when he demonstrated immense courage by confronting and neutralizing one of the two terrorists.
During the struggle with the attacker, Al-Ahmad sustained injuries and is currently hospitalized. His cousin, Mustafa, spoke outside the hospital, confirming his lack of any prior weapons experience, emphasizing that he simply happened upon the scene and saved human lives.
Mustafa proudly hailed his relative, stating, "He is 100% a hero." Mustafa added that the family is anxiously awaiting news of his condition, saying, "He is in the hospital and we don't know exactly what is going on there. We hope he will be fine."
Al-Ahmad successfully neutralized one of the terrorists, enabling Australian security forces to apprehend the second attacker shortly thereafter. The actions of the fruit-shop owner, a member of the Muslim community, stand as a powerful symbol of courage and unity against the forces of antisemitic terror and extremism that sought to divide and destroy.
