Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps released footage on Monday showing a commando-style seizure of two commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz earlier in the day.

According to the report, the ships — identified as the EPAMINODES and MSC FRANCESCA — were approached by IRGC forces using fast boats. The footage shows armed personnel firing toward the vessels before boarding them with weapons drawn.

The incident comes amid heightened tensions in the strategic waterway, a critical global shipping route, as confrontations between Iran and the United States continue in the region.
