White nationalist commentator Nick Fuentes has entered a deferred prosecution agreement after being charged with misdemeanor battery for allegedly pepper-spraying and shoving a woman who came to his home and filming it.

According to police reports and court documents, the incident occurred in November 2024 at Fuentes’ residence in Berwyn, Illinois. Marla Rose, then 57, drove to the property after Fuentes’ address circulated online following a controversial social media post. Rose began filming the exterior of the home and knocked on the door.

Fuentes opened the door and, according to Rose and police, pepper-sprayed her in the face, shoved her off the porch, grabbed her phone, and stomped on it, destroying the device.

Fuentes was charged with misdemeanor battery in Cook County Circuit Court.

Rather than proceed to trial, prosecutors and Fuentes reached a deferred prosecution agreement. Under the deal, Fuentes agreed to:

The agreement was accepted by the court. As a result, the criminal battery charge has been dismissed.

Current Status

Rose has stated that Fuentes failed to complete the community service and anger management requirements despite extensions. She is now pursuing a civil lawsuit against him, seeking damages for the incident.

The case stems from heightened tensions after Fuentes’ “Your body, my choice” post went viral in late 2024.

The general consensus on X is that although Fuentes is certainly not a model of anything good, he was doxxed and then a crazy woman appeared at his door and he was genuinely scared. Thousands of X users say they would have responded exactly as he did.
