Exposed: Secret U.S. "Armageddon Fleet" Preparing for War with Iran
Leaked satellite imagery from Planet Labs and Airbus confirms a massive U.S. buildup at Jordan’s Muwaffaq Salti Air Base. With over 60 attack aircraft parked in the open, the base has become the primary staging ground for a potential strike on Iran.

Satellite imagery has confirmed a significant buildup of U.S. Air Force assets at Jordan's Muwaffaq Salti Air Base, including at least 60 attack aircraft such as F-35 stealth fighters, amid concerns over potential conflict with Iran. Images from providers including Planet Labs, Airbus and China's MizarVision show rows of jets parked in the open, with aircraft numbers roughly triple the base's typical complement in central Jordan.
The deployment includes about 30 F-35s, 36 F-15s, A-10 Thunderbolts and other models, captured in photos from early February through the 20th. Some assessments put the total at 70 aircraft, supported by at least 68 cargo flights since mid-February delivering equipment, personnel and munitions.
A portion of the planes are housed in hardened shelters for protection.
Beyond fighters, the base hosts drones, helicopters and MIM-104 Patriot missile systems for defense against Iranian ballistic missiles. THAAD antimissile batteries are also present, enhancing the site's role as a strategic outpost.
Analysts link the surge to President Trump's firm policy on Iran's nuclear activities, positioning the base as a potential staging ground for operations.
Chinese and Iranian media have highlighted the imagery as evidence of escalation, while U.S. officials describe it as prudent preparation in a volatile area.
