U.S. Air Force Airlift to Middle East Surges Overnight | WATCH
Under the cover of darkness, the U.S. Air Force executed one of its most intensive logistics surges of the decade, funneling heavy equipment and reinforcements into the Persian Gulf.

The U.S. Air Force continued its intensive “air bridge” operation into the early hours of Monday, with a noticeable increase in heavy transport flights heading to key bases in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar.
Flight tracking data showed multiple C-17 Globemaster III aircraft, supported by KC-46 and KC-135 tankers, routing through Europe (often via Ramstein Air Base in Germany) toward Al Dhafra Air Base in the UAE and Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. The activity remained high throughout the night of April 26–27. i
This sustained logistics operation is part of the broader 2026 U.S. military reinforcement in the Middle East, the largest since the 2003 Iraq invasion, amid ongoing tensions with Iran.
The airlift, which has been active since January, has seen fresh surges in recent weeks, moving equipment, munitions, personnel, and supplies to forward bases.
The Pentagon has not issued an official statement on the latest flights, but open-source intelligence (OSINT) accounts and flight trackers continue to document the heavy tempo.
