The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has imposed an immediate and complete ground stop on every flight departing the United States for Montréal–Trudeau International Airport following a bomb threat received on one of the aircraft.

The alert was reported today, forcing authorities to halt all outbound U.S. departures to the major Canadian hub as security teams investigate the threat.

No flights have been permanently canceled at this stage, but passengers, including many Israeli and Jewish travelers who routinely connect through Montreal, are facing significant delays and disruptions.
