Trump has warned Iran that if it insists on killing portesters like it has done in the past, he will use the full force of the USA against it. But Iran is too arrogant to listen. Will they learn a lesson like Maduro was forced to? Or is it just empty words?
The U.S. State Department's Persian-language account on X posted a pointed message seemingly directed at Iran's leadership, stating: "President Trump is a man of action. If you didn’t know, now you know."
Some reports included an additional admonition: "Don’t mess with President Trump."
The post, shared amid escalating nationwide protests in Iran and following U.S. military actions in Venezuela, has been interpreted by observers as a stern warning to the Iranian regime. Analysts suggest it references recent U.S. interventions, establishing "credible deterrence" after warnings to Tehran about crackdowns on demonstrators.
Iran International English, a prominent news outlet focused on Iran, reported the message as apparently addressing Iran’s leaders, known colloquially as the "Mullahs."
Similar accounts from geopolitical commentators and pro-Israel advocates described it as a "sharp message" in light of the Venezuela operation, urging the regime not to "play games" with Trump.
The timing coincides with reports of violent suppressions in Iran, including alleged raids on hospitals and deaths of protesters in provinces like Ilam and Kermanshah.
Commentators noted that the post signals potential consequences for the ayatollahs, with one adding a call for "Freedom for Iran."
