Israel Braces for 'Massive Fire Strike' as Hezbollah Chief Pledges Alliance with Tehran
As tensions between the US and Iran reach a boiling point, the IDF is bracing for a scenario where Hezbollah joins the fray. Military sources warn the terror group's leader is becoming emboldened.

Israel is actively preparing for a scenario in which Iran orders its proxy, Hezbollah, to launch attacks from Lebanon in the event of an American strike on the Islamic Republic.
Security officials have clarified that any attempt by Hezbollah to exploit the geopolitical tensions to target Israeli civilians or military positions will be met with a "harsh response."
According to Israeli sources, the IDF is fully prepared to unleash a "powerful fire strike" across all of Lebanon, designed to significantly degrade Hezbollah's capabilities should they escalate the situation.
"Growing a Backbone"
A senior military source noted a shift in the behavior of Hezbollah's leader, Naim Qassem.
"In recent days, Naim Qassem has started to grow a backbone," the source stated. "He is making declarations and issuing threats."
The source emphasized that the IDF is ready to inflict a "significant and painful" blow to the organization if these threats materialize.
"Mowing the Lawn"
In the meantime, the IDF has intensified its operations in Southern Lebanon over the last 48 hours, a strategy described as "mowing the lawn" to strip Hezbollah of its ability to threaten IDF outposts or the Israeli home front.
On Friday, the IDF struck engineering equipment and infrastructure in the area of Mazraat al-Daoudiya in southern Lebanon. The military stated that these tools were being used by terrorists to rebuild terror infrastructure, a direct violation of the ceasefire understandings between Israel and Lebanon. Earlier today, the IDF eliminated a terrorist in the Markaba area who was actively engaged in rehabilitating military infrastructure for the group.
These strikes follow a wave of targeted eliminations over the past two weeks, during which the IDF has taken out field commanders, regional artillery chiefs, and local Hezbollah representatives responsible for organizing attacks against Israel.
