IDF Eliminates Terrorists Who Exited a Rafah Tunnel, But Some Escape
IDF Forces Identify Cell Attempting to Attack Troops; At Least Half Eliminated in Combined Strike

An unusual security incident was recorded this morning (Friday) in the Rafah area in the southern Gaza Strip. At approximately 5:30a.m., IDF forces operating in the area identified a cell of terrorists emerging from an underground shaft.
According to the report, the terrorists were apparently on their way to carry out a terror attack against Israeli forces operating in the area. Immediately upon identification, a "Zik" unmanned aerial vehicle struck the cell and eliminated approximately some of the terrorists.
Later in the incident, a tank and combat helicopter carried out additional strikes at the location to complete neutralization of the threat. Israeli forces are safe, and no casualties were reported among the soldiers.
The IDF Spokesperson stated:
During the night, forces from Unit 414 identified eight terrorists who emerged from underground terror infrastructure in eastern Rafah. Immediately after identification, the Air Force, directed by Gaza Division (143) forces, struck and eliminated three of the terrorists.
Subsequently, additional strikes were carried out toward the areas where the remaining terrorists attempted to flee, with results under investigation.
Forces on the ground continue pursuit and extensive searches in the area to locate and eliminate all the terrorists.
