"We are walking a long way, but we have many partners along the way. The commander of the Judea and Samaria region division, Lt. Col. Avi Balot, said that "What Unit 636 has done in its 30 years of existence is miraculous any way you want to look at it. I too will soon complete 30 years in the IDF and during all this time I have seen the wonder of the unit's development unfold In front of my eyes: from stationary observation squads in the spatial divisions - to the establishment of mobile squads, from alerting and watching - to lethal and thwarting, from simple means - to the forefront of technology, and from independent and helpful work - to unprecedented collaborations."

"All these changes were made in 30 years and are the result of adherence to the mission, courage and creativity and most of all, they are the result of this sparkle in the eyes that wants to conquer another summit and be as relevant as possible in the fight against terrorism and contribution to defense" he added. "Just as you proved in the "Bayit VaGan" operation where all the different skills came to the fore - the entire IDF understood what we have known for a long time - that the Nitzan unit (636) is the best and most significant exposure unit in the IDF."
