IDF forces continue to deepen their control over the Gaza Strip, and tonight, the forces began an operation inside the central hospital in the city, which serves as the headquarters of Hamas. An IDF spokesperson sent a message around 2:00 am: "At this time, IDF forces are operating against the terrorist organization Hamas, in a certain part of the Shifa hospital. The operation is based on intelligence information and operational needs. The action was not intended to harm the patients, the medical staff, and the citizens staying at the hospital.

The operation was preceded by an effort to evacuate the hospital from the sick and homeless and even opened a special passageway from it. The hospital management was informed ahead of time about the entrance to the complex. In the continuation of the operation, incubators, medical equipment, and baby food are expected to be transferred to the hospital"
