Report: Intelligence Breach Enabled Assassinations of Iranian Military and Nuclear Figures

It appears that the coordinated strike, which caught Iran off guard and dealt a blow to its nuclear and ballistic capabilities, as well as to the top ranks of its military and senior nuclear scientists, relied on Israel’s ability to breach Iran’s internal intelligence infrastructure — according to a new report in the Israeli media.

Meanwhile, security officials in Israel are preparing for an imminent Iranian retaliation, expected to take place within hours or days. In his first response to the events, President Donald Trump stated:

"There are some figures in Iran’s leadership who won’t be coming back. We hope this leads back to the negotiating table — Iran cannot be allowed to possess nuclear weapons."
