The Zikim Drill: Simulating the Unthinkable

Earlier this month, the IDF conducted a massive exercise at the Zikim training base, simulating a direct Iranian missile hit on a densely populated Israeli city. Hundreds of soldiers from the Search and Rescue Brigade practiced extracting survivors from "large-scale destruction sites," a scenario that serves as the IDF's new reference point for a multi-front escalation.

Survival Logistics: The Civilian Checklist

Amid the heightened tension, the Home Front Command is urging citizens to move beyond basic awareness and toward active preparation. Noyman emphasized that because injuries often occur on the way to shelters, families must be self-sufficient once the door is locked.
