Macron, France Are Irrelevant

Macron Embraces Abbas While Europe Fades

The leadership of France’s biggest companies told Macron to ‘get stuffed’, the French people "don’t give a damn about what Macron says."

On November 14, 2025 Arutz 7 reported "Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday sharply criticized French President Emmanuel Macron for embracing Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas as a “prince of peace” during their meeting in Paris.

“To bring in such a person, embrace him and say you’re the prince of peace is the opposite of reality - it’s false,” Netanyahu told Australian journalist Erin Molan on her podcast. “You cannot build peace on falsehoods. Sooner or later, these falsehoods crash on the rocks of Middle East reality.” “The reality is that the Palestinian leader Abbas, who was feted right now in Paris, pays terrorists to kill Jews. The more Jews they kill, the more they get paid. They take care of their families,” added the Prime Minister..."

On September 22, 2025 the BBC reported "France has formally recognized a Palestinian state, becoming the latest in a wave of countries to take the step. Speaking at the UN in New York, President Emmanuel Macron said "the time for peace has come" and that "nothing justifies the ongoing war in Gaza"...Belgium, Luxembourg, Malta, Andorra and San Marino are also due to recognise a Palestinian state, after the UK, Canada, Australia and Portugal announced recognition on Sunday..."

Macron and the EU are becoming irrelevant. Who cares what they say about "Palestine"?

On December 1, 2025 Robert Semonsen wrote in the Gateway Pundit "Renowned International Relations Scholar John Mearsheimer Warns Brussels That Europe’s Geopolitical Relevance Is Collapsing...

"Europe’s ruling class received a brutal wake-up call last month when renowned American scholar John Mearsheimer addressed the European Parliament at the invitation of the Flemish nationalists of Vlaams Belang. Speaking bluntly, he argued that the war in Ukraine has not just devastated Ukraine, it has accelerated the collapse of Europe’s geopolitical relevance. For Mearsheimer, the continent is “in serious danger,” and the decline is overwhelmingly the result of political delusions held by Europe’s entrenched, globalist establishment...

"... His prediction was stark. Ukraine will lose more territory, end up dependent on European aid indefinitely, and exist as a fractured state unable to defend itself. Europe will pay a heavy price as well. By severing itself from Russian energy and doubling down on sanctions, Europe has kneecapped its own industry and given the U.S. and China an enormous competitive edge. He warned that NATO’s credibility will suffer a historic blow once Ukraine’s defeat becomes undeniable, triggering bitter internal disputes and weakening the EU, which has always relied on NATO for its security backbone."

Europe’s Geopolitical Relevance Is Collapsing and France is a primary example of European decay. France has eroded its status as a democracy after disqualifying LePen from the upcoming elections and Macron is being ignored as a leader by his own people.

Here is an example of how the most powerful economic leaders in France told Macron to ‘get stuffed’:

On April 6, 2025 the Conservative Tree House reported "French Business Leaders Reject President Macron’s Demand to Divest from USA ... According to French media, quoting multiple corporate leaders and company directors throughout France, the leadership of France’s biggest companies told Macron to ‘get stuffed’ following the French president’s demand to divest their interests from America.

" President Macron ordered 50 of the largest companies with positions in the USA to attend an emergency economic meeting at Elysée Palace.

" As reported by French media, “Some of us fell out of our chairs,” confided one of the 50 or so French business leaders invited.”

“We are not in an administered economy,” thunders the leader of an employers’ movement.

"And the CEO of a CAC 40 giant bluntly asserts:

“I don’t give a damn about what Macron says. We have operations in the United States. There is no question of abandoning them just like that. We must respect our commitments to our employees, our customers and our shareholders.

"An opinion shared by a manager of a spirits producer: “It is out of the question to stop investing in the United States, especially in the current economic slump.”

" This type of reaction should not be surprising at it reflects the transparent disconnect between ideological government officials and generally pragmatic business leaders. Macron can stomp his reactionary feet, but corporate leaders and company owners are focused on the purpose of their enterprise, profit..."
