The head of the opposition, MK Yair Lapid, went on a diplomatic visit to Germany in efforts to free the abductees, in his meeting with the Chancellor of Germany Lapid said: "Stopping the millions flowing into Hamas accounts will lead to the collapse of the organization and the release of the abductees."

The Prime Minister spoke with Thailan's PM Srettha Thavisin, telling him Israel is making every effort to free foreign citizens in Hamas hands.

The German Chancellor was responding to reports of German citizen Louk's death: "We need to hold the terrorist organization accountable."

The Egyptian President added that "migration of Palestinians into Egypt and Jordan - defeats a Palestinian state."

The President and the German Chancellor met to discuss the fighting and the captives. 

Chancellor Scholz made a joint statement with Prime Minister Netanyahu as rockets were fired towards the country's center from Gaza.

He also accused Iran, stating that "without its support, Hamas would not have been able to carry out this unprecedented attack."
