Why the World Is Getting the Islamic Conflict All Wrong
In the global Islamic-Jewish conflict conflict the Jews are the persecuted minority. The Knesset should revert Palestinian Arab propaganda that portraits Palestinians as the underdog by renaming the conflict the "Islamic-Jewish conflict" instead of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

On December 14, 2025 Arutz 7 reported "MK Simcha Rothman (Religious Zionism party) spoke with Arutz Sheva - Israel National News about the deadly mass shooting at a Hanukkah celebration in Sydney, Australia today (Sunday). "We are shocked to hear what happened in Sydney, Australia. We warned about this for very, very long time. I was invited by the Jewish community in Sydney and in Melbourne to come and visit for a solidarity mission, and sadly, the Australian government prevented my entrance because [they wanted] to appease what they called the Muslim or the Palestinian community there,” Rothman said..."

One of the gunmen was identified as 24-year-old Naveed Akram. He is from Bonnyrigg in Sydney’s south-west. According to the Daily Mail, Akram was shot, arrested, and remains in custody, where emergency services are treating him. Police are also currently raiding his home. Here is his driver’s license.
"Unconfirmed reports say Akram is a Pakistani immigrant. He was apparently radicalized at some point. The other gunman was killed at the scene. He has been identified as Khaled Al-Nablusi..."
Arutz 7 reported "Australian investigators say...a jihadist flag was found in the terrorists’ vehicle..."
Islamic Terrorists Naveed Akram and Khaled Al-Nablusi murdered 16 Jews in Australia during a Chanuka celebration. This is was an attack of antisemitic radical Islam against Judaism. There are 2,000 million Muslims in the World and only 16 million Jews. There are 57 Muslim States in the World (members of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation) but only one Jewish State. There are 22 Arab States in the Arab League but only one Jewish State. In the Islamic-Jewish conflict conflict the Jews are the persecuted minority and not the Muslims. On December 13, 2023 Sergio Altuna wrote in George Wasgington University "This report analyzes the role played by the Qatar-based International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS) in the context of the Israel-Hamas war that erupted October 7, 2023.
"Founded by the late Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, broadly regarded as the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood for decades, IUMS was established in 2004 as a collective fatwa-issuing institution. It has a broad global reach thanks to its savvy use of both traditional communication and social media.
"An analysis of IUMS’ output during the first weeks of the conflict clearly shows: Religious Legitimization of Hamas’ Actions. IUMS’ discourse and activities since the beginning of the war have focused on providing religious legitimacy to the actions undertaken by the terrorist organization, indicating a nuanced intertwining of religious discourse and political objectives between the two parties.

On August 11,2016 Newsmax reported about Khamenei’s genocidal intentions: “Supreme ruler Ayatollah Khamenei of Iran has published a book on how to destroy Israel, arguing that his position is based on “well-established Islamic principles.”
"The 416-page book is titled Palestine. An item on the books’ back cover describes Khamenei as “The flagbearer of Jihad to liberate Jerusalem.” The book explains that land that falls under Muslim rule, even briefly, can never again be ceded to non-Muslims, the Post reported. “What matters in Islam is ownership of a land’s government, even if the majority of inhabitants are non-Muslims.”
"Khamenei also argues that Israel is a special case because the nation is a loyal “ally of the American Great Satan,” meaning the United States; because it has warred against Muslims on many occasions; and because Israel occupies Jerusalem, which Khamenei describes as “Islam’s third Holy City.”
According to Khamenei his call to "liberate" Jerusalem is based on Islamic doctrine not politics. Khamenei and other Islamic scholars want to "liberate" Jerusalem ignoring the fact that Jerusalem is the spiritual capital of Judaism while Mecca is the spiritual capital of Islam.
This conflict is about religion, not land. The Knesset should rename it the Islamic-Jewish conflict stop calling it the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. While Jordan occupied Jerusalem (from 1948 to 1967) there were no calls to "liberate" Jerusalem, as Khamenei says “What matters in Islam is ownership of a land’s government, even if the majority of inhabitants are non-Muslims.”
The Palestinian charter was changed in 1967 after Jews liberated Jerusalem. Before 1967 the Palestinian charter claimed Jerusalem belonged to Jordan not Palestine (and the Palestinians were happy about it).
The "religious legitimacy" to the conflict provided by Islamic scholars is not new. Arabs have a long history of racism and discrimination against Jews.
In 1929 the Arabs ethnically cleansed the Jews in Hebron "on the night of August 23, 1929, the tension simmering within this cauldron of nationalities bubbled over, and for a period of three days, Hebron turned into a city of terror and murder as the Arab residents led a rampaging massacre against the bewildered and helpless Jewish community. By the time the massacre ended, 67 Jews lay dead – their homes and synagogues destroyed – and the few hundred survivors were relocated to Jerusalem. The aftermath left Hebron barren of Jews for the first time in hundreds of years."
There are several eyewitness accounts of travelers that testify to the abuse of Muslim rulers against Jews during Islamic rule. Blogger ElderofZiyon reported "Israel Joseph Benjamin was a Jewish explorer who traveled the world seeking to find the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel in the 19th century. He describes, in simple terms, his visits to Jewish communities worldwide.

"Here he describes the situation of Jews in Palestine, whom he visited in 1847. He notes that their plight was in some ways the worst that he had seen among Jews anywhere...
"The State of the Jews in Palestine: Deep misery and continual oppression are the right words to describe the condition of the Children of Israel in the land of their fathers...
1) "They are entirely destitute of every legal protection and every means of safety. Instead of the security afforded the law, which is unknown in these countries, they are solely under the orders of the sheiks and pachas, men, whose character and feelings inspire but little confidence from the beginning, It is only the European Consuls who frequently take care of the oppressed, and give them some protection.
2) "With unheard of rapacity, tax upon tax is levied on them. With the exception of Jerusalem, every where the taxes demanded are arbitrary. Whole communities have been impoverished by the exorbitant claims of the sheiks, who, under the moat trifling pretenses, without any control, oppress the Jews with fresh burdens. It is impossible to enumerate all these oppressions.
3) "In the strict sense of the word they are not even masters of their own property. They do not even venture to complain when they are robbed and plundered; for. the vengeance of the Arabs would follow each complaint.
4) Their lives are taken into as little consideration as their property; they are exposed to the caprice of any one; for even the smallest pretext, even a harmless discussion, a word dropped in conversation; is enough to cause bloody reprisals. Violence of every kind is of daily occurrence, When; for instance in the contests of Mahomet Ali with the Sublime Porte, the City of Hebron was besieged by Egyptian troops and taken by storm, the Jews where murdered and plundered, and the survivors scarcely even allowed to retain a few rags to cover them. No pen can describe the despair of these unfortunates. The women were treated with brutal cruelty; and even to this day, many are found who from that time became miserable cripples. With truth can the Lamentations of Jeremiah be employed here. Since that great misfortune up to the present day, the Jews of Hebron languish in the deepest misery, and the present Sheik is unwearied in his endeavours, not to better their condition, but on the contrary to make it worse.
5) "The chief evidence of their miserable condition is the universal poverty which we remarked in Palestine, and which is here truly characteristic; for nowhere else in our long journeys, in Europe, Asia and Africa did we observe it among the Jews. It even causes leprosy among the Jews of Palestine, as in former times. Robbed of their means of subsistence from the cultivation of the soil and trade, they only exist upon the charity of their brethren in the faith in foreign parts.
"... In a word the state of the Jews in Palestine, body as well as mind, is an unbearable one; and yet there the land yields most abundantly. If the possession of it were not to completely in the hands of the Arabs, — if one could only secure for the Jews some little portion of it and give them the means for its cultivation - sufficient sources of industry would be open to them; wherewith to obtain a livelihood. But what does it benefit them to cultivate the ground, if the Arabs rob them of the harvest?"

On November 8, 2018 Samuel Tandros wrote in the Hudson Institute "...after the 7th-century Islamic conquests, when both Jews and Christians became vulnerable minorities. Under Islam, both groups were viewed as dhimmis, tolerated but made subject to a complex system of discriminatory policies including a special tax (jizya), distinctive clothing, and prohibitions on riding horses and carrying weapons."
The Boston University website reports "In 1772 a Muslim scholar in Cairo was asked how Jews and Christians should be treated. The answer is found in this selection, issued four years before the American Declaration of Independence...

"Praise be to God, the guide of the right way!
"The decision given by the Shaikh ar-Ramli [a great Cairo legal authority, d. 1596], by the Shaikh al-Islam [the Muslim religious authority in Constantinople], and by the learned scholars whose decrees can hardly be written down here, may be worded as follows: "It is forbidden to the tolerated peoples living on Muslim territory to clothe themselves in the same manner as the chiefs, the scholars, and the nobles. They should not be allowed to clothe themselves in costly fabrics which have been cut in the modes which are forbidden to them, in order that they may not offend the sensibilities of poor Muslims and in order that their faith in their religion should not be shaken by this. [Poor Muslims may regret their faith when they see how well-dressed the Christians and Jews are.]
"They should not be permitted to employ mounts like the Muslims. They must use neither saddles, nor iron-stirrups, in order to be distinguished from the true believers. They must under no circumstance ride horses because of the noble character of this animal. The Most-High has said [Qu'ran 8:62]: 'And through powerful squadrons [of horses] through which you will strike terror into your own and God's enemies.' [A verse of the Qu'ran makes a good support for a law. Verses may even be torn out of their context.]
"They should not be permitted to take Muslims into their service because God has glorified the people of Islam. He has given them His aid and has given them a guarantee by these words [Qu'ran 3:140]: 'Surely God will never give preeminence to unbelievers over the true believers.' Now this is just what is happening today, for their servants are Muslims taken from among men of a mature age or from those who are still young. This is one of the greatest scandals to which the guardians of authority must put an end. It is wrong to greet them even with a simple 'how-do-you-do'; to serve them, even for wages, at the baths or in what relates to their riding animals; and it is forbidden to accept anything from their hand, for that would be an act of debasement by the faithful. They are forbidden while going through the streets to ape the manners of the Muslims, and still less those of the cities of the religion. They shall only walk single-file, and in narrow lanes they must withdraw even more into the most cramped part of the road.
"One may read that which follows in Bukhari and Muslim [religious authorities of the ninth century]: 'Jews and Christians shall never begin a greeting; if you encounter one of them on the road, push him into the narrowest and tightest spot.' The absence of every mark of consideration toward them is obligatory for us; we ought never to give them the place of honor in an assembly when a Muslim is present. This is in order to humble them and to honor the true believers. They should under no circumstances acquire Muslim slaves, white or black. Therefore they should get rid of the slaves which they now have for the), have no right to own them. If one of their slaves who was formerly an infidel, becomes a Muslim, he shall be removed from them, and his master, willingly or unwillingly, shall be compelled to sell him and to accept the price for him.
"It is no longer permitted them to put themselves, with respect to their houses, on an equal footing with the dwellings of their Muslim neighbors, and still less to build their buildings higher. If they are of the same height, or higher, it is incumbent upon us to pull them down to a size a little less than the houses of the true believers. This conforms to the word of the Prophet: 'Islam rules, and nothing shall raise itself above it.' This is also in order to hinder them from knowing where our weak spots are and in order to make a distinction between their dwellings and ours.
"They are forbidden to build new churches, chapels, or monasteries in any Muslim land. We should destroy everything that is of new construction in every place, such as Cairo, for instance, founded under the Muslim religion, for it is said in a tradition of Umar: 'No church shall be built in Islam.' They shall no longer be permitted to repair the parts of these [post-Islamic] buildings which are in ruins. However, the old buildings [of pre-Islamic times] which are found in a land whose population had embraced Islam need not be destroyed. They shall not, however, be enlarged by means of repairs or otherwise. In case the tolerated peoples [Jews, Christians, etc.] act contrary to these provisions we will be obliged to destroy everything that has been added to the original size of the building. [Only pre-Islamic churches and synagogues may be repaired; new ones must be torn down.]
"Entrance into Muslim territory by infidels of foreign lands under the pact guaranteeing protection to the tolerated peoples is permitted only for the time necessary to settle their business affairs. If they exceed this period, their safe-conduct having expired, they will be put to death or be subject to the payment of the head-tax.[Jews and Christians of foreign lands must pay a special head-tax if they wish to remain permanently in Muslim lands.] As to those with whom the ruler may have signed treaties, and with whom he, for whatever motive, may have granted a temporary truce, they form only the smallest fraction. But they, too, must not pass the fixed limit of more than four months [without paying the tax], particularly if this occurs at a time when Islam is prosperous and flourishing. The Most-High has said [Qu'ran 2: 2341: 'They should wait four months,' and he has again said [47:37]: 'Do not show any cowardice, and do not at all invite the unbelievers to a peace when you have the upper-hand and may God be with you.'
"Their men and women are ordered to wear garments different from those of the Muslims in order to be distinguished from them. They are forbidden to exhibit anything which might scandalize us, as, for instance, their fermented liquors, and if they do not conceal these from us, we are obliged to pour them into the street."
"This which precedes is only a part of that which has been written on this subject, and if we should wish to mention it all here it would take too long. But this brief recital will be sufficient for those men whose intelligence God has enlightened, to whom he has given the breath of life, and whose inner thoughts he has sanctified. Now let us beg the Sovereign Master of the world to extend His justice over humanity universally, in order that they may direct all their efforts toward raising with firmness the banner of the religion.
"In a tradition of the sincere and faithful [Calif Abu Bekr, 632-634] it is likewise said: "The abolition of a sacrilegious innovation is preferable to the permanent operation of the law." In another tradition it is also said: "One hour of justice is worth more than sixty years of ritual." The verses of the Qu'ran and the traditions are very numerous on this subject, and they are known by all the faithful. God has cursed the former nations because they have not condemned scandalous things; and He has said [Qu'ran 5:82]: "They [the children of Israel] seek not at all to turn one another from the bad actions which they have committed. 0 how detestable were their actions. But He has punished these men because of their obstinate conduct." The Most-High has also said [Qu'ran 9: 1 131: "Those who bid what is right and forbid what is wrong, who observe the divine precepts, will be rewarded. Announce these glad tidings to the Muslims."
"May the Most High God admit us to the number of this company and may He lead us in the paths of His favor. Certainly God is powerful in everything; He is full of mercy to His servants; He sees all.

The BBC reports "Muhammad...himself bought, sold, captured, and owned slaves"
Arab slavers not only enslaved Africans, they also enslaved other non Muslims including Jews.
Islamic sources describe how Mohammed massacred and enslaved the Jews in Khaybar.
Bernard Lewis writes:
"The city of Medina, some 280 miles north of Mecca, had originally been settled by Jewish tribes from the north, especially the Banu Nadir and Banu Quraiza. The comparative richness of the town attracted an infiltration of pagan Arabs who came at first as clients of the Jews and ultimately succeeded in dominating them. Medina, or, as it was known before Islam, Yathrib, had no form of stable government at all. The town was tom by the feuds of the rival Arab tribes of Aus and Khazraj, with the Jews maintaining an uneasy balance of power. The latter, engaged mainly in agriculture and handicrafts, were economically and culturally superior to the Arabs, and were consequently disliked.... as soon as the Arabs had attained unity through the agency of Muhammad they attacked and ultimately eliminated the Jews."...
"The Prophet Muhammad's pronouncement: "Two religions may not dwell together on the Arabian Peninsula." This edict was carried out by Abu Bakr and Omar 1, the Prophet Muhammad's successors; the entire community of Jewish settlements throughout northern Arabia was systematically slaughtered.
According to Bernard Lewis, "the extermination of the Jewish tribe of Quraiza was followed by "an attack on the Jewish oasis of Khaibar."
Messengers of Muhammad were sent to the Jews who had escaped to the safety and comfort of Khaibar, "inviting" Usayr, the Jewish "war chief," to visit Medina for mediations.
"Usayr set off with thirty companions and a Muslim escort. Suspecting no foul play, the Jews went unarmed. On the way, the Muslims turned upon the defenseless delegation, killing all but one who managed to escape. "War is deception," 15 according to an oft-quoted saying of the Prophet."16
The late Israeli historian and former President, Itzhak Ben-Zvi, judged the "inhuman atrocities" of the Arabian communities as unparalleled since then:
"... the complete extermination of the two Arabian-Jewish tribes, the Nadhir and Kainuka' by the mass massacre of their men, women and children, was a tragedy for which no parallel can be found in Jewish history until our own day ...."
Here are some more details about Khaybar "...Muhammad's war against the Jews of Khaybar was very harsh. At first he sent disguised guests to the homes of the leaders of Banū Naḍīr who then killed their hosts...Muhammad treated the Jews of Khaybar with cruelty, murdering Ḥuyayy ibn Akhṭab, head of Banū Naḍīr, in Medina. He ordered the son of the leader and the husband of his daughter Ṣafiyya killed in Khaybar. He married Ṣafiyya, who herself was taken captive..."
Today Muslims continue celebrating Muhammad's massacre of Jews in Khaybar. In an article published in November 2013, the Jerusalem Post reported about an Arab TV show glorifying Muhammad's massacre of Jews at Khaybar "Arab TV satellite channels are airing a series this year called Khaybar, referring to the Muslim massacre of the Jews of the town of that name in northwestern Arabia in 628 CE.
After the attack, some Muslims, including Muhammad, took surviving women as wives.
The Muslim conquerors charged the Jews a 50 percent tax on their crops and in 637, after Muhammad’s death, the Caliph Omar expelled the remaining Jews from Khaybar.
In Islamic tradition, the chant “Khaybar Khaybar, ya yahud, Jaish Muhammad, sa yahud,” which means, “Jews, remember Khaybar, the army of Muhammad is returning,” is used as a battle cry when attacking Jews or Israelis.
It was, for example, chanted on the Mavi Marmara Gaza flotilla ship in May 2010.
...The show is set to air on channels such as Dubai TV, Dream TV (Egypt), Al-Iraqiyya TV, Algerian Channel 3, Atlas TV (Algeria), Qatar TV and UAE TV, according to the MEMRI report...."
Palestinian leader Arafat proudly took Khaybar as an example of how to deal with the Jews. Arafat said in a Mosque in South Africa shortly after signing Oslo “I see this agreement as being no more than the agreement signed between our Prophet Muhammad and the Quraysh in Mecca....the prophet had been right to insist on the agreement, for it helped him defeat the Quraysh and take over their city of Mecca. In a similar spirit,we now accept the peace agreement, but [only in order] to continue on the road to Jerusalem.”

After the massacre of Khaybar, surviving Jews were expelled and settled in Jericho (another argument against those who call Jews in Judea and Samaria illegal western colonists) "After captives of war and slaves from other countries were brought to Khaybar and the people of Hejaz became more accustomed to agriculture, the caliph *Omar decided to expel the Jews of Khaybar in 642 under the pretense that before his death Muhammad had commanded that two religions could not exist simultaneously in the Hejaz....Some of the Jews of Khaybar settled in Wadi al-Qurā and *Tayma, but most of them settled in *Jericho. Among those exiled to Jericho was the son of the chief warrior of Khaybar, Ḥārith, who was the father of Zaynab, the woman credited with the attempt to poison Muhammad in revenge for the slaughter of her people. The Jews of Khaybar apparently spread out from Jericho along the Jordan Valley, reaching the Sānūr Valley in northern Samaria. This is indicated by the names Tell-Khaybar and Khirbat-Khaybar in that valley and an ancient Arab tradition about a Jewish king and princess who lived in these places. An Arabic source [published by I. Goldziher (REJ, 28 (1894), 83)] quotes an Arabic account in which the Muslims express their astonishment that the Jewish women of Khaybar put on their most beautiful jewelry on the Day of Atonement..."
Muslims today are proud of Muhammad's massacre of Jews at Khaybar “Jews, remember Khaybar, the army of Muhammad is returning,” they sing. Islam teaches that Muslims are allowed to sign treaties when they are in a position of weakness but should break them when the time is ripe. Mohammed himself gave the example. As Sher Khan in Islam Watch, Mohammed...made many treaties when he was weak but conveniently broke them, ...when the time was ripe."
The Palestinians are following Mohammad's example, they signed the Oslo accord in 1993 with the intention of breaking it when the time is ripe. Abbas is breaking the Oslo accord now and blaming Israel, exactly as Mohammed did in Quraish.
Another example of Jews enslaved by Muslims was in Kurdistan. "Bernard Lewis discusses three inferior groups in Islam, slaves, women and unbelievers, citing the three essential inequalities related to the dominant and inferior groups: master and slave, man and woman, believer and unbeliever. The Jews in Kurdistan have been inferior in the social and religious ranks. Theoretically, they could be two of the essential inequalities discussed by Lewis: they were non-tribal subject protégés of the tribal Kurdish aghas and they were ‘unbelievers,’ in the eyes of the Muslim society. Indeed, in earlier periods some of the rural Jews were slaves, according to the tribal Kurdish concept of the word, as discussed in details above."

Ethnic Cleansing, Jyzia and Dhimmitude
Slavery was not the only way Islamic rulers terrorized minorities, another way was through Jyzia. On August 15, 2014 I wrote in Gatestone Institute "There are two important historical events usually overlooked in the Arab-Israeli conflict.
One is the use that Muslim rulers made of the jizya (a discriminatory tax imposed only on non-Muslims, to "protect" them from being killed or having their property destroyed) to reduce the quantity of Jews living in Palestine before the British Mandate was instituted in 1922. The second were the incentives by the Ottoman government to relocate displaced Muslim populations from other parts of the Ottoman Empire in Palestine.
Until the late 1800s entire ancient Jewish communities had to flee Palestine to escape the brutality of Muslim authorities. As Egyptian historian Bat Ye'or writes in her book, The Dhimmi:
"The Jizya was paid in a humiliating public ceremony in which the non-Muslim while paying was struck in the head. If these taxes were not paid women and children were reduced to slavery, men were imprisoned and tortured until a ransom was paid for them. The Jewish communities in many cities under Muslim Rule was ruined for such demands. This custom of legalized financial abuses and extortion shattered the indigenous pre-Arab populations almost totally eliminating what remained of its peasantry... In 1849 the Jews of Tiberias envisaged exile because of the brutality, exactions, and injustice of the Muslim authorities. In addition to ordinary taxes, an Arab Sheik that ruled Hebron demanded that Jews pay an extra five thousand piastres annually for the protections of their lives and property. The Sheik threatened to attack and expel them from Hebron if it was not paid."
The Muslim rulers not only kept the number of Jews low through discriminatory taxes, they also increased the Muslim population by providing incentives for Muslim colonists to settle in the area. Incentives included free land, 12 years exemption from taxes and exemption from military service.
Bat Ye'or continues:
"By the early 1800s the Arab population in Palestine was very little (just 246,000) it was in the late 1800s and early 1900s that most Muslim Colonists settled in Palestine because of incentives by the Ottoman Government to resettle displaced Muslim populations because of events such as the Austro-Hungarian Occupation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Crimean War and World War 1. Those events created a great quantity of Muslim Refugees that were resettled somewhere else in the Ottoman Empire... In 1878 an Ottoman law granted lands in Palestine to Muslim colonists. Muslim colonists from Crimea and the Balkans settled in Anatolia, Armenia, Lebanon, Syria and Palestine."
Justin McCarthy, a professor of history at the University of Louisville, writing in his Annotated Map, "Forced Migration and Mortality in the Ottoman Empire," also notes that there were about five million Muslims displaced due to the Austro-Hungarian occupation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Crimean War, Balkan wars, the Turkish war of independence and World War I.
Sergio DellaPergola, from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, in his paper "Demography in Israel/Palestine: Trends, Prospects and Policy Implications," provides estimates of the population of Palestine in different periods. As the demographic data below shows, most Muslims living in Palestine in 1948 when the State of Israel was created had been living there for fewer than 60 years:
1890: Arab Population 432,000
1947: Arab Population 1,181,000
Growth in Arab population from 1890 to 1947: 800,000
The Yazidi in Iraq and the Christian Copts in Egypt are not "settlers" and "occupiers;" neither are the Jews in Israel. They are victims of a common enemy that seems to want a Middle East free of non-Muslims."

According to the Palestinians themselves most "Palestinians" are migrants from other Arab Countries. On March 23, 2012 MEMRI reported "Hamas Minister of the Interior and of National Security Fathi Hammad Slams Egypt over Fuel Shortage in Gaza Strip, and Says: "Half of the Palestinians Are Egyptians and the Other Half Are Saudis" (Please see video in the link below)
Lyn Julius comments about George Bensoussan’ book 'Juifs en pays arabes: le grand deracinement 1850 – 1975':
“…Bensoussan, threatens to stand the notion of ”Jewish colonialism” on its head: it is the Jews who lived under Muslim rule who were the true victims of colonialism…By the time the Arab conquerors had swept over the Middle East and North Africa, the Jews had been living in the region for 1,000 years…Under Islam, according to the eighth-century Pact of Omar, indigenous Jews and Christians were permitted to practise as long as they acquiesced to the ”dhimmi” condition of inferiority and institutionalised humiliation…”
“… Bensoussan observes that the Islamic order was built on a ”colonial” notion – submission. The Muslim submits to Allah, the Muslim woman submits to her husband, the non-Muslim dhimmi submits to the Muslim. At the very bottom of the pile is the slave… He produces incontrovertible evidence that, 100 years before Israel was established, most Jews in Arab and Muslim lands lived in misery and fear….Jews were regularly mobbed, robbed, their possessions looted, beaten up on the slightest pretext, or false charge brought by a jealous neighbour. Jews were feminised in the Muslim imagination – cowardly, submissive, unable to stand up for themselves.

Jews have been persecuted and expelled from most Middle East Countries and they managed to find refuge in Israel, a country smaller than New Jersey. Jimena.org reported that since 1948, 850,000 Jews have been expelled from Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Lybia, Lebanon, Morocco, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen and other Middle East Countries. Israel is the only safe heaven for Jewish refugees in the Middle-East. Israeli land should also be seen as reparations and safe haven from Khaybar and centuries of Islamic persecution of Jews.
Mohammed's massacre and enslavement of Jews is in Qoran. Saying that the Jews are colonists contradicts the Qoran.
Islam cannot exist without hatred of Jews, it is part of the Islamic theology. The "religious legitimacy" provided by Islamic scholars motivates Muslim hatred of Jews.
The Knesset should rename the conflict the "Islamic-Jewish conflict", stop calling it the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. This correct change of name would show the real dimension of the conflict (where Hamas leaders live in luxury and have full support from Countries like Qatar) and derail Palestinian propaganda that brainwashes liberals around the World. If the conflict is seen as the only small Jewish State vs the 22 Countries members of the Arab League (or the 57 Islamic States in the Organization for Islamic Cooperation) the Palestinians would not gain as much sympathy in their propaganda effords to be seen as the underdog.
